William Faulkner Award
Brandon resident Lauren Lindsey won the for her one-act play that she entered in the Tallahatchie Riverfest literary competition.
She was honored today at a luncheon in New Albany for her third place finish in the competition.
New Albany is the birth place of Faulkner.
Lindsey is a Mississippi College student majoring in English and the daughter of Martin and Margie Lindsey of Brandon.
